A Case of Hysteria was born from my passion for design and fashion. Through this label, I want to share my vision of clothing and accessories—one rooted in self-expression, inclusivity, and a desire to challenge conventional norms.
My designs celebrate diversity in all its forms. I believe clothing is a powerful tool for self-expression, identity, and confidence. That’s why I consciously play with gender and sexuality in my work, creating space for anyone who doesn’t fit neatly into society’s boxes.
For me, fashion is more than just style—it’s a language, a way of claiming your space in the world. With A Case of Hysteria, I want to inspire people to tell their own story and to feel bold, beautiful, and unapologetically themselves in what they wear.
About A Case of Hysteria

I want A Case of Hysteria to stand as a counterpoint to the kind of fashion that's currently dominant. The fashion industry today is one of the most polluting in the world. And while the blame is often debated—whether it lies with the consumer or the brands—I want to focus on those who care about making better choices.
I'm here for the people who value well-made, as sustainable-as-possible clothing. Through Hinte Online, I aim to research, explore, and contribute to more innovative ways of producing garments—rethinking how fashion is made and what it could be.
I don’t want to create large seasonal collections. Instead, my goal is to experiment: with garment-making techniques, with materials, and with design itself. I want to merge sustainability and individuality, offering pieces that people not only love to wear but feel good about wearing.

About the designer

I became a fashion designer, because of my passion for art and fashion. I started designing to deal with my emotions, because I tent to feel emotions very intense and deeply.
Now I use design to express my emotions and therefor also express myself.
I see clothes as a form of art, and I also get inspired by fashion designers who also see clothes in this way. For example, I admire designers like Vivienne Westwood as she expresses punk and her view on the world through her clothes. Also, the Dutch designer Duran Lantink, I admire how he uses shape in his designs to tell a story.
